Once you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Kanje Grand Tours driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and unwind. Later in the evening, you'll participate in a tour briefing to prepare for the safari ahead. Your accommodation includes Bed and Breakfast amenities.
Your safari adventure begins today! You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by our professional driver-guide for a safari briefing before setting off to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, the largest trees on the continent. From the open roof of your vehicle, you’ll witness the diverse landscapes of seasonal swamps, savanna, and the Tarangire River, teeming with wildlife. Keep an eye out for a variety of birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and, of course, elephants.

Later, you’ll drive to your lodge for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will journey through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, crossing the Malanja Depression as you head towards the Serengeti, one of the most renowned wildlife destinations in the world.

Your first stop is at the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can take a short walk among the Naabi Hill Kopjes, large granite boulders that offer a perfect spot to stretch your legs while your guide handles the necessary paperwork.

Following a picnic lunch at the gate, you will embark on an exciting afternoon game drive across the vast Serengeti National Park. The name “Serengeti” comes from the Masai word ‘Siringet’, meaning ‘endless plains’, and you’ll quickly see why this description is so fitting. Enjoy the stunning landscapes and wildlife of the Serengeti before heading to your accommodation for the night.
Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp or, if you choose a Camping Safari, at Seronera Campsite.

After an early breakfast, you will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and abundant fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.

Another highlight of this picturesque park is its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can be challenging to spot. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for its large flocks of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds.

In the late afternoon, we will transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight, or drop you off at the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
