Once you land at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a Kanje Grand Tours driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and unwind. Later in the evening, you'll participate in a tour briefing to prepare for the safari ahead. Your accommodation includes Bed and Breakfast amenities.

After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. The route takes you through the beautiful Maasai steppe and various villages. Tarangire, one of Northern Tanzania's premier parks, is characterized by the Tarangire River and its surrounding low-lying hills within the Great Rift Valley. The park's vegetation includes acacia woodlands, majestic African Baobab trees, and a swampy area in the south.

The Tarangire River and swamps are vital water sources, attracting a diverse range of wildlife. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population, the largest in Africa. You may also spot giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, baboons, and monkeys. The park is home to the rare Greater Kudu, Fringed-Eared Oryx, and Ashy Starling. Predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs also inhabit the park, alongside numerous vultures and other birds of prey. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted by over 400 bird species, including migratory ones.

In the late afternoon, as the sun sets, drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Enjoy a brief stop at Lake Manyara viewpoint for picturesque views of the lake and its surrounding forest from the edge of the Great Rift Valley.

After breakfast, drive up to the Ngorongoro highlands. Spend a few minutes registering at the gate before heading to the Crater viewpoint for breathtaking views of the Crater floor. Take some photos before descending the 600-meter-high walls into the Crater for a full-day game drive.

Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eden of Africa, boasts stunning scenery and abundant wildlife. The Crater is home to large mammals and plains animals. During the game drive, expect to see herds of wildebeest, eland, zebra, hippos, African elephants, gazelles, and the rare black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the Crater floor.

This vast caldera also has a dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and the elusive leopard. All these animals are contained within the 600-meter volcanic walls, providing close-range viewing. Visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the Crater, home to large flocks of flamingos, many aquatic birds, and hippos. In the late afternoon, drive back to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we'll head to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush oasis nestled at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley. This evergreen park, with its diverse habitats, is home to a variety of wildlife, including the famous tree-climbing lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras, buffalo, leopards, hyenas, and more.

In the afternoon, we'll drive back to Arusha. If you wish, you can visit the vibrant Mto wa Mbu market or a Masai market along the way. We'll reach Arusha by late afternoon. Please inform us if you are flying out today or need accommodation in Arusha.
